Introduction
Welcome to the School of Science & The Environment! We welcome scholars from worldwide and have staff dedicated to the support of international students in the department and also at Faculty and University levels. We are a vibrant School linked to many other institutions worldwide.
Located within the Faculty of Science and Engineering in the city centre, we are part of a large University with a diverse and growing international student community. Manchester is a cosmopolitan city and a major centre of UK Higher Education and welcomes international students each year from over 100 countries.
The University is committed to providing excellent provision for all students, for example providing accommodation for all first year students and courses in basic English for international students. There is also support and information about comprehensive English Language courses for those students who wish to gain IELTS credits.
