Centre for Earth & Ecosystem Responses to Environmental Change
CEEREC research is focused on understanding and modelling the biological, chemical and physical processes that govern physical Earth systems and ecosystems, their sustainability, and impacts of environmental and climatic change.
Centre for Air Transport and the Environment
CATE has an active portfolio of aviation-related research, with particular emphasis on the central and difficult issue of reconciling the rapid growth in global air transport with the imperatives of sustainable development.
Human Geography and GIS
Human Geography and GIS Research within Human Geography and GIS (HUGGIS) at MMU focuses on a broad range of subjects within Social, Cultural and Political Geography.
