Ecology & Conservation of Grey
Parrots in West and Central Africa

In 2011, we intitiated a series of projects examining the distribution, abundance and ecology of Grey Parrots Psittacus erithacus and Timneh Parrot P. timneh across their range in West and Central Africa.

The work centres on two PhD studies, one funded by Loro Parque Fundacion and the other by Parrots International, along with a CITES/BirdLife International project.
